Why Give?
- Supporting local leaders to pass a reasonable set of vacation rental regulations that allow existing homeowners to continue welcoming visitors, limiting the number of new vacation rental licenses available, and protecting the high quality of life we all experience in our community
- Helping to make Park Township a better place for our residents, kids, and grandkids through investment in community projects that enhance everyone’s quality of life
- Our long-term goal is to build a committed group of property owners who pay Park Township annually to ensure all costs associated with the regulation of vacation rentals are covered while also matching those fees with charitable contributions and community investment. We have already begun talking with local organizations like Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, Outdoor Discovery Center, Boys and Girls Club of Holland, and local schools with the goal of contributing more than $100,000 a year plus many hours of volunteer time and service.
